The Diplomatic Representation of Flanders in London is the point of contact for the Government of Flanders in the United Kingdom and is part of the Embassy of Belgium.
The Diplomatic Representation looks after issues linked to the competences of the Government of Flanders. The devolved powers to Flanders include, amongst others, education & research, arts & culture, the environment & infrastructure, agriculture & fisheries, economy and employment.
More specifically, the Diplomatic Representation reports about relevant political and other developments in the United Kingdom, meets and coordinates with British partners, accompanies incoming delegations of Flemish ministers, members of the Flemish Parliament and officials. It also organises and supports initiatives to strenghten the relations between Flanders and the United Kingdom.
Our colleagues at Flanders Investment & Trade deal with companies for trade and investment. Visit Flanders is responsible for the promotion of Flanders as a top destination for tourists. The three Flemish administrations all work together in Flanders House.
